Il Misterio secondo Fo (1969-1977)

On 1 October 1969 Dario Fo brought “Mistero buffo“ to the stage for the first time, a great popular jester in grammelot which reversed episodes and characters of the dominant culture, especially religious ones, in a satirical-grotesque way. The contributions collected here see the future Nobel Prize winner commenting for the RAI cameras on what remains his masterpiece, a milestone in the history of Italian theatre.
