Lebanon: Protesters march in Beirut against corruption and bank account restrictions

Follow us on Telegram: Subscribe to our channel! Beirut locals marched on Sunday to protest against corruption and restrictions on bank account withdrawals amid the economic crisis in Lebanon. The demonstration which started in front of the Association of Banks in Beirut proceeded through the streets of the Lebanese capital all the way to the Banque du Liban building. The Middle Eastern country is witnessing the worst economic collapse in its history coinciding with an unprecedented and consistent decline in the value of the lira.
