Synopsis In beginning of the 20th century, two climbers carry a statue of the Virgin to the top of a mountain. ----------- Ascension is a multi award-winning graduation movie, done at Supinfocom Arles in 2013 by Thomas Bourdis, Martin de Coudenhove, Caroline Domergue, Colin Laubry and Florian Vecchione. As it is a student movie, we did all the aspects of the movie, from writing, to sound design. The only element that we didn“t create ourselves is the music, that as been done by the talented Seth Stewart. The movie is CG only. We used 3ds max, Maya, Zbrush, Vue xStream and World machine to create the differents CG elements, and Vue“s rendering engine and Vray for the renders.
