Tamerlan Tmenov is a Russian judoka of Ossetian descent. He competed at 100 kg and openwieght categories. Tmenov is one of the best judokas that haven’t won Olympic gold or World Championships. He has Olympic silver and bronze, two World silver medals and two bronze medals, he is also 7-time European champion. Tmenov relied on his fantastic technical abilities and grappling IQ, that’s why he was one of the most exciting judokas to watch.
