“March of the Alexeyevsky Regiment“ — English subs and translation

Russian Empire, 1915 Donate & Support: March of the “colour“ Alexeyevsky (Partisan) Regiment of the Volunteer Army - the most significant White Guard formation during the Civil War in Russia. The song itself was written by Ivan Novgorod-Severskij (Jan Plyashkevich) before these events, in 1915, and was dedicated to the Russian army in the Great War. Men of the Alexeyevsky were famous for the presence in their ranks of many students, cadets, officer candidates and educated youth, they were even often called the “Student Regiment“. This video is not illustrated with a portrait of General Aleksejev himself due to his unworthy participation in the abdication of the Emperor Nicholas II, only partially redeemed by his role in the creation of the Volunteer Army. Portrayed by a soldier of the Alexeyevsky Regiment in his summer uniforms painted by Andrej Karaschuk. LYRICS (Complete original ones, differing from the video):
