African Politician Lectures U.S. Sec of State Over Ukraine & Imperialism

Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently traveled to Africa to meet with dignitaries, discuss future plans and, perhaps most important, convince hesitant allies to fall in line to support Ukraine in the ongoing war with Russia. But Blinken may have gotten more than he bargained for in the person of South African government minister Naledi Pandor, who upbraided Blinken (in the most diplomatic terms) for assuming Africa’s capitulation considering the United States’ woeful record of supporting and engaging in neocolonialist policies across the continent.
