The full documentary includes interviews with a variety of scientists, media professionals, and other thinkers as they explore a variety of issues that are of social, economic, and technical interest. As a species, we command a vast arsenal of technologies that few can comprehend beyond the scope of the average consumer. We hope these episodes are informative and compel the viewer to rethink what’s possible in our world. To question the values, behaviors, origins, and consequences of our social structures is of vital importance to our survival as we look to the future. Part 1 is an introduction and discussion of determinants of behavior. Part 2 is a breakdown of problems in our present system; an obsolete monetary system. It covers the media as a tool of the established political and economic elite, corruption of all politics in all nations, and environmental challenges. Parts 3 & 4, to be out later this year, will show solutions and proposals and will depict and illustrate Jacque’s Fresco’s life work to redesign the culture, The Venus Project. The Venus Project proposes an alternative vision of what the future can be if we apply what we already know in order to achieve a sustainable new world civilization. It calls for a straightforward redesign of our culture in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt, and unnecessary human suffering are viewed not only as avoidable but as totally unacceptable.
