Hi guys, thanks so much for stopping by my channel. I hope you enjoy today’s tutorial for these cute, RINGLESS macrame stars. I love these as Christmas tree ornaments, present toppers, keychains, and I have even added them to garland! As with making any new pattern for the first time, it is always a good idea to cut a little extra cord length to make room for variances in cord diameter,(each company differs) knot tension, etc. If you are new to macrame or need help with the double half hitch knots, please watch this step by step tutorial before you begin: Here is a link to the cord I used: American link 🇺🇸: Canadianlink 🇨🇦: MEASUREMENTS: Without the jute twine hanger the actual star measures 4 inches/10cm, in both height and width. HERE IS WHAT I USED: - 4mm single ply macrame string: 1 x 25in/64cm 14 x 19in/48cm - Jute twine for hanger, about 12 in/30cm - Sewing needle - Fabric glue, you can use a glue gun, in fact I find a glue guns works much better and is waayyy quicker to dry as well. (I ran out of glue gun sticks) You can find me on Instagram @soulful__notions (2 underscores)
