Slade - HOW DOES IT FEEL - Top Of The Pops

I thought it was about time I threw this into the mix, a track that the writer of the choon, Slade maestro Jim Lea has revealed is his favourite Slade track, Lea maintains that it was the first song he ever wrote as a pimply youth, and all Slade fans are glad he did, and glad that it was still around to be given the Holder/Lea treatment for the film soundtrack of ’Flame’ This grainy black and white footage that was broadcast by the BBC on their flagship pop chart show Top of the pops on the 6th February 1975, the day before its official UK release. Luckily it was recorded on a very early home video format and even more luckily for us Slade fans it was recovered in 2017, and even luckier for all Slade fans, was sent to me anonymously by a benefactor whoi wants all music fans to be able to see the footage in more or less its original ugly EGOmarks. Rumour has it that it was also recorded by someone who had a video system that could record a colour signal. Who knows! Slade In know it makes sense. The original and is the most sincere form of the shoulders of Giants.......
