In this tutorial, youā€™ll learn how to create this versatile wire woven pendant. You can use either a square or a rectangle cabochon to create this piece. This weave really shows off the stone and is very secure. So, letā€™s get started! ............................................................ For materials youā€™re going to need: 8ā€ Segment 16 G Square wire (X2) 5ā€ segments 21 G 1/2 round wire ~12ā€ segment of 21 G 1/2 round wire (X2) 2ā€ segments of 18 G 1/2 round wire A teardrop cabochon. Iā€™m using a 18mmx 25mm cabochon for this tutorial. 2-3 feet 28 gauge weaving wire (X3) 7ā€ Segments of 20 G Round wire (X2) 7ā€ segments of 20 G square wire And another 7ā€segment of 20 or 18 gauge round wire. (I ended up using 20 gauge for this tutorial.) For tools, youā€™re going to need: A ruler A Ring mandrel, or something round like a large dowel Flush cutters Chain nose pliers Round nose pliers Itā€™s not necessary, I recommend having a pair of flat nose pliers as well. ............................................................
