Electron Transport Chain (2019) Drew Berry

The molecular mechanisms of the Electron Transport Chain, harvesting energy from movement of electrons to pump protons out of mitochondria. In action the molecular engines discovered inside mitochondria that generate chemical fuel ATP, the key source of energy that keeps your cells alive. Electrons travelling through enzymes of the Electron Transport Chain, move protons across the inner mitochondrial membrane. The proton concentration gradient then powers synthesis of ATP.
