Shine In The Dark (Secret Area) Remix - Mega Man Battle Network 3 (Mega Man 8 Style)

Start your weekend in a nice manner with today’s Mega Man 8-styled remix of “Shine In The Dark“ from Mega Man Battle Network 3. I’ve been in a bit of a MM8 soundfont kick lately and have been looking for some more songs to use it with, so I’ve recently asked around for some suggestions for remixes. Lo and behold, this track was one of the suggestions I received, and funnily enough, I was already considering remixing it this way. Great minds sure do think alike, eh? Anywho, I think this one turned out pretty well, with the synth and trumpet leads carrying a good momentum alongside the background choir, background synth, and acid bass. I feel it makes for a more “funky“ sound compared to the more “mystical“ tone of the original, another take on the tune.
