When he was campaigning for President in 2020, Joe Biden drew a sharp distinction between himself and Donald Trump on the issue of immigration, promising that he would take a more thoughtful, humane and generous approach to the millions of migrants who arrive on American shores each year. Turns out it was all BS as Biden just recently announced draconian new measures intended to minimize the number of migrants coming to the US, especially those from countries targeted for crippling sanctions.
