Farage and von der Leyen clash at nomination vote

Ahead of an expected vote by the European Parliament, candidate for President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen made a final pitch to MEP’s. After she gave a forty minute speech (watch it here: ), each party leader including the Brexit parties Nigel Farage got the chance to respond. After Farage encouraged fellow MEP’s to vote against von der Leyen because of concerns she wants to create a Europe wide army, von der Leyen responded by saying “we can probably do without what you have got to say here.”
