The last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, has died at the age of 91. He was a towering figure, as the reforms he started brought about the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Iron Curtain, and eventually, the dissolution of a nation he ruled. He was seen as a hero to many in the West, but he leaves behind a complicated and polarizing legacy in Russia and across the former Soviet Union. Russian President Vladimir Putin has unravelled much of what Gorbachev did and stood for. Eric Sorensen reports.
