Back in the USSR - The Ladders (Beatles cover)

Mike Love himself suggests some lyrics for the opening song of The Beatles “White Album”. A good-natured mockery of the surf rock of his Beach Boys from California Girls, but also of the rock and roll of Chuck Berry from Back in the USA… Paul McCartney concepì Back in the USSR come parodia (e allo stesso tempo tributo) al rock’n’roll di Chuck Berry e Beach Boys, ma il brano fu talmente convincente da diventare uno standard del genere stesso.
