Two facilities emerge in Bastrop, Texas! 19 December 2022 Boring Company & SpaceX Update (011:35AM)

I decided to do a Sunday flight to catch up from my previous 28 November 2022 video over the Boring Co and SpaceX facilities since it’s been a few weeks. For those who may not know, these facilities are right next to each other and about 15 miles (or ~22 Km) due east of Giga Texas. If you’d like more information on where these are located and other key facilities in the greater area around Giga Texas, I recommend you check out my 6 December 2022 Surrounding Area video. The SpaceX 521,000 Sq Feet (~48,400 Sq meter) facility is listed as a warehouse and goes by the name “Project Echo”. The construction is located in Bastrop County, Central Texas and SpaceX was permitted to construct this “warehouse” on 46.5 acres of land at 816 FM 1209, right across the street from the Boring Company facility with address 130 Walker-Watson Road. The SpaceX project has an estimated completion date of March 2023. The Boring company facility at this location has been here since 2021, but most of the construction and structures you see now were constructed in 2022, including the large white warehouse, which was completed just a few months ago.
