I was just talking with my boss yesterday and told him I was going to upload for Miku’s birthday today to which he replied - “I swear you said the same thing last year.“ Some things never change, huh. I would just like to give a big shoutout to our blue haired queen for being who she is, and for getting me into composing songs for just around 6 years now. My life has changed for the better, and I couldn’t be any more grateful to VOCALOID for being what it is. My first experience with VOCALOID dates back to my highschool days. I was a senior and the year was 2013 when my friend first introduced me to World is Mine. I can hardly believe it’s been 10 years since then. To be honest, at first I really didn’t like it at all. It sounded weird to me and I had no idea what they were saying. But the more I listened to the songs, the more I found myself enjoying it. Before I realized it, I found myself wanting to write music with the software myself. Thus begun my journey into VOCALOID and into learning the Japanese language. Ah, the nostalgia. This is a song I wrote back in 2021 when living in a crazy share house in Tokyo with 30 other people. Every day was a party, and more often than not, I found myself with a hangover. While I have long left that crazy share house and that lifestyle in the past, this is still a nostalgic song to me and I hope that all of my former housemates find themselves well. If I remember correctly the house is set to close down either this year or the next. Thank you for your continued support despite my few uploads. I have been posting one original PV a month for just about a year now, but with how busy work is I have found it hard to continue composing lately. It’s easy to get caught up in the numbers game, and I admit I find myself missing the days where I got more attention on my music from time to time. But it’s ok. I’m going to continue doing what I love. For those of you guys that have stuck around the whole time - thank you. And for those of you new here, welcome, and stay around for a good time.
