Helen Shapiro - Not Responsible

It’s odd that Helen Shapiro’s biggest Australian hit didn’t even make the charts in her home country the UK back in 1963. But “Not Responsible“ reached #1 in Oz & charted for a massive 6 months Of course she had many others in England including this one’s Aussie flip side “No Trespassing“, which made it a double sided smash here. But Not Responsible is one of my earliest musical memories at the age of 3 or 4, which I distinctly recall more than any of Helen’s other hits.
