I find this song very inspiring.. The lyrics capture the quest for the prize implied by the song’s title.. John Lennon’s acoustic demo of this is the best version.. Believe it or not, Adam Sandler’s version is good.. The Beatles version on ’Anthology“ to me sounded like ELO meets the Traveling Wilburys.. .. Thanks to Jeff Lynne.. Everything he produces sounds like ELO-but I love ELO.. I just don’t want the Beatles to sound like ELO... I tried to do it focused, but raw.
