London. Several craftsmen sit at workbenches, working on pieces of jewellery. We see various shots of a man making a piece of diamond jewellery that can be converted into several different accessories to wear. The diamonds are set in “the newest metal to be used for milady’s adornment - palladium“. The main floral piece of the jewellery is fitted onto a necklace. The craftsman shows it to a supervisor who nods his head in approval. He takes it to a model in a strapless evening gown. She is already wearing a matching bracelet. The man puts the necklace on the girl’s neck. The big diamonds are mounted on fine palladium wire springs, so they become “one mass of quivering brilliance at the wearer’s slightest movement“.
