This gem of a find features a rarely seen—and truly terrific—band introduction by the late, great Dick Clark, who was a class act and a big Chicago fan. Some additional footage following the band’s performance is also included which was never shown in the old low-quality video of this performance that’s been circulating among collectors for decades. P.S. Happy 78th birthday to Mr. Peter Cetera today (9-13-22)! Peter, as badly as I want to see it happen, I won’t ask you to reunite with Chicago; however, I WILL ask you this: Would you PLEASE get back to playing the bass like this again, and would you PLEASE play (yes, PLAY) with Danny Seraphine again, even if it’s for one night only??? That’s all I ask, man. ;-)
