The Rolling Stones - (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction - Guitar Cover

(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction Guitar Cover Recorded with an Epiphone Casino Elitist and Gibson J-160E Standard. The main riff in this song is possibly the most recognizable three notes in popular music. Keith originally intended it to be played by horns that would have been overdubbed at a later date. As a guide track for them, he played the riff on guitar with a fuzz effect provided by a Gibson Maestro Fuzz-tone pedal. He turns it off for the chorus. There is a distinctly audible click after the first chorus as he turns the pedal back on. Since I do not have a fuzz pedal, I recorded the guitar in two parts. I achieved the fuzz sound by turning the gain on my Vox AC15 three quarters and the clean sound with a high amount of reverb. I use Dunlop Nickel Wound Electric Strings (10-46) on the Epiphone Casino.
