English Lesson - Changing An Adjective To An Adverb. My name is Constance Williams and I Thank You, for joining me in another episode of my English lesson. In the English Language, Adjective can be change to adverb by changing or removing the suffixes and adding a new letter or letters there. And in this letter you will see how such can be done using only the “LY“ letters. Example: We can change the Adjective “Happy“ to the Adverb “Happiness“ by removing the the letter “Y“ and adding “INESS“ and there are other words which can be changed using this same method.
