The Doors - Tightrope Ride (feat. Ray Manzarek on vocals) (1972)

Ray Manzarek - famous organist of “The Doors“ - sadly passed away on May 20, 2013. In our rare Beat Club clip “Tightrope Ride“ featuring Ray Manzarek on vocals you can see one of his greatest performances. Enjoy and share it to let others know about this great musician. The Doors - unfortunately without Jim Morrison who died the year before - with the song “Tightrope Ride“ live at the Beat Club on ! You want it, you got it! See The Doors live at the Beat Club on May 27th, 1972! But please notice: This performance in Bremen took place one year after the dead of frontman Jim Morrison on July 3, 1971! Unfortunalety they never played with their charismatic frontman at the Beat Club. So the Keyboardist Ray Manzarek took the place of the lead singer. The song “Tightrope Ride“ is taken from “Other Voices“, the first album released by the band after the death of Jim Morrison. The Doors should only release one more album (Full Circle) before disbanding in 1973. Both albums were largely disregarded by reissue, with no official CD releases in the USA.
