LED Tutorial: Light a 100W LED from 12V - Simple & Cheap

How to power a 100W LED from a 12v power source. A second hand heatsink and fan from an old computer works to draw heat away from the LED, while a DC/DC boost converter transforms 12 volts DC up to about 35v and regulates the current to 3 amps.
