This is the unedited raw recording that John Lennon made with only a piano, a microphone and a boom box in his appartement in the Dakota building 1977 for the first and only demo of the hit Beatles finale single ’Now and Then’. This recording features the 60 hurtz mains electrical buzz that made this particular recording difficult to work with which was a factor in its being abandoned when working on the Beatles 1995 anthology series.
