Multi-percussionist presents album, especially for this evening together with keys player Wolfert Brederode and saxophonist Kika Sprangers. Joost Lijbaart drums / percussion, Kika Sprangers alto / soprano sax, Wolfert Brederode piano A dream has come true for percussionist and improviser Joost Lijbaart: his first solo album. Besides the drums, this all-rounder also plays all other instruments itself on ‘Free’. You can hear a lot of tuned percussion, such as glockenspiel, tube bells and vibraphone, but also more African and Asian percussion, including odaiko drums, anklung and balafon.
