Borodin - Nocturne from Petite Suite - Cyprien Katsaris Piano

Published in 1885, Borodin’s (1833-1887) Petite Suite consists of 7 pieces. The Nocturne is the 7th of the set and was described by the composer as “Lulled by the happiness of being in love.” Borodin was a Russian doctor, chemist, and a composer. In 1862 he began taking composition lessons from Balakirev. His most famous work is probably the Polovtsian Dances from his Prince Igor opera. Source info: (Borodin)
