I paint the space shuttle, which I printed from a 3D SLA printer, with acrylic paint. I position it in the plexiglass mold using epoxy sticks and drinking straws. I tried to give the appearance of rocket smoke with cotton. I am lighting from below with 12v strip LED. You can ask your questions in the comments, I will try to answer you in a short time.
