LED ZEPPELIN *FOUR STICKS* JOHN BONHAM DRUM COVER

The last tune for my cover videos of LZ ’s fourth album. I did a demo and earlier version last year , but I wanted to re-do it with the newer look and sound, also a different camera angle. I hear this song as starting on beats 4 and 5 as pick ups to the main riff. Someone had commented that wasn’t correct , that they think it starts on beat one, but that doesn’t seem logical to me , given the harmonic rhythm , especially when it gets to the 6/4 bars. There is a lot of speculation as to how to play this beat, and I think I’m close but who know for sure. It is of course similar to the ending of Dazed live, and the Moby Dick “ Bonham Engine“ or “ jungle “ type groove, but I believe he didn’t hit the snare. To me it sounds like it was all played on the toms. This is my interpretation of the beat, as I think a note for note transcription would be nearly impossible in this case. Hope you all dig the covers of the Fourth to the earlier albums now!
