Gay cakes and the Anarchists’ Cookbook; wasting the courts’ time

After the freeing of four young people who admitted causing serious damage during the disorder in Bristol in 2020, some people wonder what the point of the courts is. We want to see burglars and rapists sent to prison and rioters dealt with severely, but instead the British courts seem to be tied up with what many people think are trifling and idiotic matters.
