Patreon: One of the more famous songs associated with the Great Patriotic War, but surprisingly was written decades after. Composed by David Tukhmanov and the words authored by Soviet poet Vladimir Kharitonov, the song was to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Victory over the Nazis in 1945. Consequently due to its popularity, the song became a mainstay during every Victory Day Celebration ever since.
