Full title reads: “Windermere. ’Miss England II’ is launched by Lord Wakefield, and Sir Henry Segrave tries out �25,000 ’aristocrat of all motor boats’, built to wrest record from America.“ Windermere, Lake District, Cumbria. Lord Wakefield makes a speech expressing his hopes for ’Miss England II’. The motorboat is moved out on to the waters of Lake Windermere. The engine is started and she moves away from the quay in a cloud of fumes. The speedboat is brought back in after a trial run.
