Dune (1984) Alternative Edition Redux fanedit (178 min)

This is REDUX - the final 2012 version of my Dune The Alternative Edition fanedit project, which replaces two earlier and inferior versions (v.1 in 2008 and v.2 in 2009). This is *NOT* the butchered version of my Dune Redux fanedit that was uploaded to Youtube in July 2017 by one Sam Wong. For the all the background info on my project go here: THIS UPLOAD: The source is a crisp 480p image, but YouTube’s compression makes the video look a little soft and blocky. Those wise in the way of the web can find my original mkv, mp4, avi and dvd9 download releases online, all of which look better. WHY NO HD? A high def 1080p release of my Dune fanedit is impossible, at least until the extended Alan Smithee ’TV version’ of Lynch’s Dune gets released in high def. That would allow a Dune Redux that’s about 93% 1080p resolution footage. But for now, I have no 1080p source for approx 35 minutes of unique footage that I used from the extended ’TV version’. I ha
