Donald Trump: Kamala Harris ’disrespectful’ to Israel with Gaza remarks

Donald Trump said his relationship with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, had always been warm as the two leaders met at the former US president’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The Israeli leader also said he hoped progress would be made in talks over a possible ceasefire in Gaza. Mr Netanyahu travelled to meet Trump, the Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election, after meeting President Joe Biden and his vice-president Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee.
