Since Barbie was definitely a staple of many of my childhood Christmases, and even pivotal to my introduction to the internet with the games on that I used to play (when my sister wasn’t on the phone)... I definitely had to jump on the “Barbie Summer“ trend and make my own outfit to wear to theaters. It was truly my inner child’s wildest dream to combine her favorite toy with her old dream job of being a fashion designer. I posted the skirt to Tiktok and Instagram and thousands shared my excitement for the skirt, which combined the ruffle hat trend with the current Barbie core fashion popularity.
