MK1: Scorpion/Jax 135% Combo (3 Resets)

How this works: Similarly to previous incarnations, scorpion gets a lot of opportunities off his tele punch against standing opponents, like Jax’s unblockable assist for example. The reason this works is because the opponent is trapped in hitstun, meaning that while this isn’t a true combo by traditional definition, the unblockable is guaranteed. By utilizing appropriate timing on aerial combos, scorpion can combo into another spear restand and loop the reset over and over. Another way you can validate whether or not this is a “combo” is by paying attention to the meter drain. It doesn’t reset until the end of the fatal blow, meaning that the game considers it a continuous string of damage.
