Various shots of liner ship “Queen Elizabeth“ sailing down River Clyde on her first official trials after being refitted. During the war she was a troop carrier, now she will be a luxury liner. C/U of Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Mother) looking through binoculars and chatting to Captain Sir James Bisset, commander of the “Queen Elizabeth“. Various shots of the Queen and two princesses looking at different parts of the ship. All the new fittings and furnishings are very luxurious.
