Well. I guess Lestat severely underestimated his little “Belladonic Beauty“ and found out the hard way that hell has no fury like a woman scorned. He kinda had it coming though with how cruel he was towards her. Honestly, the way they clash is ironic because they’re so much alike that they would probably have been besties in another universe; a proud maker and his perfect progeny. Just imagine it for a moment. What an epic murder duo they could have been. Sadly, it was not to be.
