The brief clip featured a touching moment between Mando and Grogu, with a voice-over from Mando saying, “We’re bounty hunters by trade, now that he’s with me, I’ll be selective about my assignments.“ The footage also included scenes of Babu Frick and Grogu flying a ship together, a snow-covered planet (possibly Hoth), and Zeb from “Star Wars: Rebels.“ Directed by Jon Favreau, who co-wrote the script with Dave Filoni, this marks the first Star Wars theatrical release since 2019 and the first based on a Disney Plus series.
