Just Cheese - The How And The Why Of It (1926)

A herd of Cheshire cows walk past the camera. Farm hands pour milk into buckets in a farmyard. A milkmaid assists. L/S of the farm workers moving the buckets of milk. The milk is poured through muslin into a large vat. An elderly lady works outside breaking up the curd. The curds are put into a grinding machine which a younger woman operates. The crumbled curd is put into a bucket lined with fabric. The fabric is folded over and the small barrels are put into a press. The press is undone and the cheese is tipped out. The fabric is peeled off then a dairy maid places other fabric around the cheese. She stretches it around. M/S of a woman in a large room turning over the large drums of cheese.
