Iran has bolstered its Revolutionary Guard’s navy amid rising tensions with the US in the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran has equipped its navy with various types of drones to boost Iranian defences in the region. Several hundred cruise and ballistic missiles with a range of 300 to 1,000 km have been also added to Iran’s naval capabilities.
