Roll The Dice by Charles Bukowski

⏳ If you are going to try, go all the way. “Roll the dice“ by Charles Bukowski is one of those poems that really inspires me. Even if it kind of feels a little aggressive, it is still one of the most motivating poems from Bukowski. I wanted to make a video that could connect with anyone who is having an internal fight in the pursuit of their dream. For me, this poem serves as a motivator to keep working on my youtube channel despite all the hurdles that I may find in this path. Let me know what this poem makes you feel and if it motivates you in any internal journey that you’re having right now. Thanks for watching and big thanks to all the people that have subscribed to the channel lately! You make my days brighter! ⏳ Some Bukowski’s Books: 📔Essential Bukowski: Poetry 📔Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame 📔The Last Night of the Earth Poems 📔 Ham On Rye: A Novel 📔Post Office: A Novel 📔Women: A Novel 📔You Get So Alone at Times That It Just Makes Sense 📔Love is a Dog From Hell ⏳ Narrator Tom O’bedlam ⏳ Music Lake Surprise by Peter Sandberg ⏳ Poem “Roll the dice“ By Charles Bukowski if you’re going to try, go all the way. otherwise, don’t even start. if you’re going to try, go all the way. this could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives, jobs and maybe your mind. go all the way. it could mean not eating for 3 or 4 days. it could mean freezing on a park bench. it could mean jail, it could mean derision, mockery, isolation. isolation is the gift, all the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. and you’ll do it despite rejection and the worst odds and it will be better than anything else you can imagine. if you’re going to try, go all the way. there is no other feeling like that. you will be alone with the gods and the nights will flame with fire. do it, do it, do it. do it. all the way all the way. you will ride life straight to perfect laughter, it’s the only good fight there is.
