Tape Saturation VST - Slate Digital VTM vs. Waves J37 vs. TB ReelBus
Plenty of fine Tape Saturation VST plugins out there these days. Which one to choose? It depends on what you are looking for. Here is my take on it.
1. Slate Digital Virtual Tape Machines (VTM)
The best emulation out there imo. Subtle saturation adds some nice creamy quality to the sound. Love it.
2. ToneBoosters TB ReelBus
Most versatile of the three. Gives you lots of configuration options. Great price too.
