Unknown Snipers Behind Massacre Preceding 2014 Ukrainian Coup Expert Claims Citing Court Documents

️ Unknown Snipers Behind Massacre Preceding 2014 Ukrainian Coup — Expert Claims Citing Court Documents The Maidan massacre verdict has confirmed a theory that non-government-aligned snipers fired into protesters in February 2014 in Kiev. Initially ruled a police action, the shootings escalated between the government and Euromaidan demonstrators, culminating in elected President Viktor Yanukovych’s ousting. Canadian researcher of Ukrainian origin Ivan Katchanovski says court documents draw a “categorical conclusion” that snipers were shooting from the Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina and that it cannot be ruled out that eight protesters were killed and 20 wounded by “unknown persons,” who were not “law enforcement officers.“ “The verdict also confirms my study findings that there is no evidence of order given by Yanukovych or his ministers to massacre Maidan protesters,” Katchanovski writes. The revelation does not give an official clarification as to the allegiance of the mysterious shooters but, according to Katchanovski, does give credence to the theory that the snipers had pro-Euromaidan links.
