Sark is a tiny island between France and the UK. First, we fly to Jersey or Guernsey and board a ship to Sark. There are no cars on the island, the only motor vehicles are tractors that serve as taxis or ambulances. Only 600 people live here, it is beautiful, pristine, very clean air, amazing views. At night we can admire the stars and the Milky Way! The International Dark-Sky Association has recognized the small island of Sark, located 80 kilometers on the English Channel, as the first island of the dark sky. There are no public lights or busy roads on Sark, thanks to which the island is not surrounded by sources of significant pollution of the night sky with artificial light.
