Apollo 440 - Reeperbahn (Rare B-Side)

Although the band’s first record “Millennium Fever” wasn’t a massive hit, it has since formed a sizeable fan following. One of it’s singles was a cover of the Blue Oyster Cult classic “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” and like most dance acts of the time it came with a B-side that stood more like a jam session than anything else. “Reeperbahn” was only available on the 12″ vinyl format to the single, and although the title might suggest it to be something of a dub mix to it’s namesake, the track actually doesn’t resemble it much, instead choosing to select beats, loops and samples from some of the different songs featured on @440’s debut ( most notably vocal cuts from “I Need Something Stronger”). Now for the first time you can experience this rare B-Side on YouTube! All music and digital components belong to Apollo 440 & Stealth Sonic Recordings and as such this stands more as a documentation to the group’s discography. All artwork is based on the cover design to ’(Don’t Fear) The Reaper’ and was made by me. The track has also been ripped digitally from a vinyl copy and hasn’t been re-touched in any way (as I don’t have the skills for it), so expect there to be a few pops and crackles along the way.
