The Mammoth Site By The Lighthouse Lady We visited the Mammoth Site on 5 -3 -2015 Located in Hot Springs South Dakota It was amazing!!!! we visited the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs SD. Very well done since it has no government assistance. Sits at the southern end of the Black Hills, is a dig that consist of over 60 mammoths over a period of 40 years, all indoors.
