Download the program: A holiday tradition for over 30 years, the Concert for Peace was founded by Leonard Bernstein as a tribute to the people of New York City. Tonight’s concert, conducted by Kent Tritle and Bryan Zaros, includes the world premiere of Joseph Turrin’s Lullaby for Vaska, along with Gustav Holst’s St. Paul’s Suite, David Lang’s Make Peace, Philip Herbert’s Elegy: in memoriam, and many more works both classic and contemporary.
